Job Title:            Vice Chairman

Responsible to:   Organization Chairman

Qualifications:

• Understands and supports the FWB Tea Party  principles
• Has real, relevant experience in the tea party  movement
• Has good knowledge of political and economic  issues facing the federal, state, and local  governments
• Demonstrates knowledge of the mission, objectives  and operation of the FWB Tea Party and be able to  expose his/her vision regarding the direction which  the organization should take for the coming years
• Demonstrates an excellent understanding of the  role of chairman
• Demonstrates the ability to positively influence  exchanges with various government authorities,  community leaders and other tea party members

Job Summary:

• Acts as Organization Chairman in his/her absence
• Presides over all meetings of the membership and Executive Committee when requested or in the  absence of the Organization Chairman
• Same as Organization Chairman

1. 1. 1. 1. Encourages the Executive Committee’s role in strategic planning
         2. Monitors financial planning and financial reports
         3. Plays a leading role in fundraising activities, makes fundraising solicitation calls and serves as an example to other members
         4. Has a familiarity with government policies and relevant issues related to FWB Tea Party’s mission
         5. Fosters and protects a safe environment for open communication and inquiry; ensures due process;  guides and mediates Executive Committee actions
         6. Works in partnership with the Executive Committee to make sure resolutions are carried out and the organization’s mission is achieved; confers with the Executive Committee on issues confronting the organization
